Christmas hats

Ingredients

  • VDP croissant / Danish dough
  • chocuise souplesse or coloured fondant
  • decoration as desired

Baking advice

  • 18 minutes at 220°C

Tip

  • Decorate the green or white varieties to make Christmas trees using decorative materials, decorate the red ones as St. Nicholas’ mitre or Santa’s hat and if desired, decorate the white ones as winter biscuits
  • Fill the croissants with a fresh cream by using a piping bag

Preparation

Make croissants and freeze them lightly so they can be cut in half easily. Place them upright on a baking tray. Let the croissants proof for 60 minutes and bake them. After baking, let them cool down and dip them in the Chocuise Souplesse or fondant. Decorate them as desired.
