Van der Pol is butter dough specialist. Together with sister company Royal VIVBuisman, Van der Pol is part of Van Ballegooijen Foods. A family business focused on producing and processing butter. Royal VIVBuisman produces butter and milk fat products. Van der Pol uses this butter, with its recognizable Dutch full flavour, in its dough products. These dough products range from puff pastry and croissant dough to cookie dough chunks. We respond to wishes and needs and use our products to save our end customers time. They can use the time saved to produce a distinctive end product. Since 1987, Van der Pol may also call ‘Purveyor to the Royal Household’, a company that distinguishes itself through quality, solidity and continuity, endorsed by the king.
Joost van der Pol set up his own business together with his wife: a butter retail business. The butter was sold in various towns, villages, markets and sometimes door-to-door.
In 1972, in addition to the product butter, the production of puff pastry made from butter began. A much-used product in the better pastry bakeries.
Since 1987, Van der Pol may also call 'Purveyor to the Royal Household', a company that distinguishes itself through quality, solidity and continuity, endorsed by the king.
In 1989, Van der Pol became part of the DTI Group. The company was then mainly active on the Dutch market with butter, bakery ingredients and cheese.
Van der Pol hands over all its butter products to its sister company Royal VIVBuisman. And starts focusing entirely on the production of the perfect dough.
For some time now, there has been a development towards integration of the production companies Van der Pol and Royal VIVBuisman. In addition, the name Dairy Trading International has not covered the company's needs for some time. To the outside world, we want to express ourselves as one group, and we want to express this cohesion with our new logos.
