All of Van der Pol’s products are described in product specifications that establish the name of the product, its properties, and the requirements the product has to satisfy. Putting down specifications is an essential condition for arriving at an outstanding product with consistent quality that will satisfy all the requirements and wishes of our customers. To guarantee this, all the products supplied by Van der Pol are made, stored and transported according to a quality system established in manuals. Van der Pol has its own laboratory that uses chemical and microbiological analyses to monitor whether ingredients and final products meet all the stipulated requirements.

HACCP
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points is a quality control system developed by NASA for food-producing companies that is required within the EC and thus applies to Van der Pol as well. To confirm the way its control methods are applied, Van der Pol has had its HACCP system certified. You are welcome to request a copy of this certificate from us.

BRC
The British Retail Consortium developed a standard for the consistent assessment of food companies. Van der Pol has already been inspected according to the strict BRC standard several times in recent years and has been approved at higher level.

Biological products/SKAL
Van der Pol carries a number of biological products that must satisfy all the legally stipulated requirements in every aspect. SKAL, the regulatory authority, visits our company on a regular basis and confirms every time with pleasure that we are taking our responsibility for these products very seriously.
